The modern revolution and differences in human lifestyle have a greater impact on human health management. The percentage of people giving importance to their daily healthcare increases by 40-70% by the end of 2030. AI is creating a bid revolution in healthcare and pharma industries by leveraging new techniques in both disease identification or examination and drug discovery. In the next 5 to 10 years healthcare industry extensively renovated with Artificial Intelligence. In this article, we are going to discuss how AI changes the health care and pharma industries.

1.  AI in Disease Detection with Visual Intelligence

   Most of the diseases like Pneumonia, Cancer, Tumor, and fractures are identified by manual analysis of images taken through CT / MRI / X-ray Scanning. This is a long and costly process to detect a person with a manual disease detection approach. By Deep Learning Approaches and leveraging digital technology, we can detect diseases quickly. These Artificial Intelligence algorithms have the capability to detect infection with probabilities. Artificial Intelligence has the capability to classify multiple diseases at a time for similar symptoms. 

Following Parameters can be taken with AI-based Disease detection
  1. Whether patients having Disease or Not?
  2. Possibility of getting that infection
  3. Infection Probability
  4. Region of Damage/Fracture happened
  5. Disease classification if the patient has the same symptoms

2. Parametric based Disease identification

Parametric disease identification means detecting disease by taking more than 3 human health parameters. This is very tough to detect infection or disease by health parametric verification approach and this may not accurate always in manual detection approaches. By using Pre-trained models in Deep Learning we can detect parameters based diseases easily with more accurately. In these types of diseases, AI can deliver answers to the following questions.
  1. Is Patient having Infection or Not?
  2. What health parameter is more responsible for that disease
  3. Disease possibility in future

3. Early Disease Detection by Analyzing Time-series Data

Most of the human body signals are time series in nature. Signals like EEG, ECG are in continuous changes and responsible for particular health conditions. It is impossible to detect diseases early with manual techniques. Artificial Intelligence Algorithm can identify patterns in these signals can able to detect disease at early stages.

The main example of this is identifying heart attacks at early stages using Pattern  Detection Algorithms.

4. Tracking BP/Heartbeat with AI

  Digitalization technology rapidly increasing in the health care industry. With AI-enabled smartwatches can measure and monitor healthcare parameters like Heart Beat, sleep, and calories. They can provide a digital identity to your body parameters.
